CALL BACK AND CHAT SERVICE

This service is run by AWARE's Women's Helpline, for women experiencing abuse, violence and/or emotional distress. For your own safety, you do not have to speak to us on the phone right now. Instead, use this scheduling page to arrange a time and we’ll get in touch then.

You can choose between a 30-minute Call-Back Request or Chat Message over Zoom (no video or audio). And if you wish to remain anonymous, you may use a pseudonym.

  • Please note that for Call-Back Requests, we will not leave a voicemail. The number we will call you from is an 8-digit number, not the 1800 Helpline number. We apologise that we are unable to dial out to international numbers.
  • If you need urgent support relating to family violence, please reach out to your closest Family Service Centre, Family Violence Specialist Centre (call ComCare on 1800-222-0000 to find your closest one) or the police by calling 999.
  • If you’re facing sexual assault, our Sexual Assault Care Centre also provides a WhatsApp chat service. Message 9781 4101 from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Alternatively, you can send an email to sacc@aware.org.sg with your contact details and preferred times and we will try our best to reach you.

 

PRIVACY PLEASE READ
You do not have to share any personal information such as name, age or address. We will protect your privacy as per our privacy policy and in line with our policy on safety and confidentiality. We suggest that you do not record or store any chats on your personal devices in order to protect your privacy. You can also clear your cache and history, deleting cookies after the chat. This will help to prevent anyone checking up on your recent online activity.
